Church Vision:

Dedication and commitment to the following conduct, principles, and attitudes of behavior are essential to reaching the vision and accomplishing the mission of New Covenant Christian Center of the Triangle, and we encourage all of our members to:

1. Regularly attend worship services and Bible study, and fellowship activities, because faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Hebrews 10:24-25; Romans 10:17)

2. Maintain daily personal fellowship with God through Bible study and prayer; develop family prayer time as a key part of your daily activities. And through increased faith, gradually begin to fast and pray on occasion. (II Timothy 2:15; Mark 9:28-29; I Thessalonians 5:17)

3. Seek relationship/fellowship with a prayer partner (or partners) within the ministry and participate regularly in activities that will encourage, inspire and uplift. (Matthew 18:19; Colossians 3: 15-17; II Timothy 2:15)

4. Serve in the ministry on a regular basis in at least one responsibility, (i.e. ushering, scripture reading, greeting) and prayerfully seek God to engage and utilize your spiritual gifts for the glory of God. (II Timothy 1:6-7; Romans 12)

5. Demonstrate good Christian citizenship by loving your neighbor, obeying proper authorities, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit in our daily walk with Jesus Christ, always endeavoring to display the highest moral standards as outlined in the Word of God. (Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:15-16; Matthew 22:37; Matthew 13:1-7)

6. Adopt a teachable spirit, so that through Gods anointed Word you may be healed, restored and able to walk in complete wholeness (spirit, mind and body). (Luke 4:18; John 8:36).

7. Be humble and totally dependent on Almighty God, and allow the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to rest, rule, and abide in your hearts. (Ephesians 3:20-21; Proverbs 15:33; I Peter 5:5)

Church Mission:
To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Christian love and effective witnessing in order to draw the lost to Christ; to promote Christian family values, Holy living, biblical principals and spiritual unity that will facilitate spiritual growth and maturity in the Body of Christ; to provide Christian discipleship education and training that will help each believer recognize and honor Gods divine purpose for their lives; to provide a spiritual atmosphere, through the Anointing of the Holy Spirit, that will bring about salvation and healing, as well as stir up the gifts, and equip and empower members for evangelistic ministry in the Church, community and beyond; to facilitate an individual understanding that all things work together for good to them that are the called according to His purpose so that corporately we can honor the great commandment to Go ye therefore

The Reverend Dennis G. Lindsay

After rededicating his life to Christ, Rev. Dennis G. Lindsay joined Markham Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in March 1993 and then fully committed himself to the Word and to Gods divine plan for his life. In January 1996, he accepted the calling of God to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Under the tutelage of the Rev. Dr. R. S. McMillan, Rev. Dennis was trained and then subsequently licensed to preach the Gospel in August 1996 at Markham Chapel. In January 2000, Reverend Lindsay was ordained by Rev. McMillan and the New Hope Missionary Baptist Association, and in August of 2000 was called to pastor the Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenton, NC. He served faithfully for over three years, until such time that the Lord revealed His divine plan for him to plant New Covenant Christian Center of the Triangle.

Rev. Lindsay has taken classes to further his education at Durham Technical Community College, NC Bible College, under the teachings of Dr. Kingsley Fletcher, as well as Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary through their distance-learning program. Pastor Lindsay is married to the Rev. Kathy Lindsay, and is the father of three beautiful children, Dennis Jr., Amber, and Christopher.

Pastor Lindsay is an anointed vessel, and humbly serves the people of God, both inside and outside of the church walls. He is a gifted revelatory preacher, expositor, and he frequently operates in the gift of exhortation, always endeavoring to encourage and strengthen the people of God through the Word of God, along with his gift of faith. Humility is his strength, and he always says – “To God be the glory!”, seeking no glory of his own.

The Reverend Kathy T. Lindsay:
Rev. Kathy Lindsay rededicated her life to the Lord and also joined Markham Chapel in early 1993. While a member at Markham, Rev. Kathy served on the Sunday School Committee, taught New Members Training class, Sunday School, as well as Vacation Bible School. Rev. Kathy acknowledged and accepted the call to preach the Gospel in June 1997. She was trained under Rev. R. S. McMillan, and licensed to preach in September 1998.

Rev. Kathy served closely along Pastor Lindsays side as an Associate Minister at Spring Green, and was ordained in the Gospel ministry of Jesus Christ in December 2002 by her husband Pastor Dennis Lindsay, and the United Shiloh Missionary Baptist Association. In 2003, as God gave the vision for new church plant, He revealed to Rev. Dennis that He was calling Rev. Kathy to the position of Co-Pastor, to assist him closely in the pastoral ministry.

Pastor Kathy, as she is lovingly referred to at New Covenant, is an anointed teacher, preacher, and also operates in the Prophetic office. Frequently the Lord will render a prophetic Word through this vessel that ministers to the individual needs of God’s people, and enlightens and empowers the people of God. While Pastor Kathy loves all people, her heart is truly focused on ministering to the needs of women.
